The work collected an extraordinary success in the XVIII century . In the course of thirty years it was spread in about twenty Italian theaters, while in London it reached the impressive number of 100 replicas between 1706 and 1728. The staging is the result of a co-production project with the Fondazione Rocca dei Bentivoglio from Bazzano, which annually prepares a show with costumes-historical gestures, whose protagonists are young specialists selected and trained through a competition course.
