Translating is a complex operation, linked to a multiplicity of constraints and variables, and sometimes destined to clash with the insuperable limit of the untranslatable, to confront one\u2019s own limits. Yet, if entropy is part of the game of translating, translation can sometimes become a valuable tool to rediscover the hidden or forgotten treasures of a language, thus contributing to its enhancement. During the conference it will be examined the case of some French translations of what has been called the &#8220;nouvelle vague literary Sardinian&#8221; (Agus, Atzeni, Fois, Niffoi, etc.).
