Translating is a complex operation, linked to a multiplicity of constraints and variables, and sometimes destined to clash with the impassable limit of the untranslatable, to confront one\u2019s own limits. Yet, if entropy is a part of translating, translation can sometimes become a valuable tool to rediscover the hidden or forgotten treasures of a language, thus contributing to its enhancement. During the conference the case of some French translations of what has been called the &#8220;nouvelle vague literary Sardinian&#8221; (Agus, Atzeni, Fois, Niffoi, etc.) will be examined.
