Sergio Foresti, born in Modena, is a famous voice on the European scene. Honoring his career, he dedicates this concert to the Mantovano Giuseppe Maria Boschi, one of the most famous and virtuous bass-baritones of the eighteenth century. The program, largely unpublished, is a very small selection of the most beautiful pages of music written for him from 1708 to 1728, which had a bright and intense career on a par with those of the famous castrati and his contemporaries like Farinelli, Senesino, Bordoni, Durastanti, Cuzzoni, Nicolini.
