The concert aims to explore the singing scene of the “eternal city” in its various expressions: the medieval carnival songs, the fifteenth-century compositions by Antonio Zacara, the first arias of the rising operatic style of Emilio de ‘Cavalieri, Giovanni Battista Fasolo, Alessandro Stradella extend to the eighteenth century to a composition of 1901. The baritone Furio Zanasi is one of the most famous Italian baroque voices.
