The two leading international performers present, in two evenings, some of Bach’s most beautiful chamber music pages. For the first time these sonatas raise the harpsichord as an accompanying instrument to a protagonist of multi-instrument compositions, bringing it to the same level as the violin with which it intertwines in dense counterpoint or dialogues in pages of great intensity.
